Rob Underwood – Director of Oil and Gas Services

Mr. Underwood holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and has built a distinguished career spanning over a quarter century in upstream exploration and production (E&P). He is a seasoned petroleum engineer and executive leader known for delivering results, with expertise spanning well construction design, field development, and operations across major basins, including California, Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Texas, covering both conventional and unconventional wells.

A former U.S. military member, Mr. Underwood applies a disciplined, solutions-oriented approach to industry challenges. His comprehensive background includes A&D, Land, Geology, Finance/Economics, Reserve Estimation, Planning, and all aspects of operational execution—from drilling and completions to production, facilities, flowback, and well intervention.

Throughout his career, Mr. Underwood has built a reputation for making things happen, ensuring that complex projects are executed efficiently and effectively. His leadership has driven operational success across both publicly traded and private equity-backed companies, consistently achieving results through technical excellence, strategic oversight, and high-performance teams.
